Sponsorship
Our sponsorship activities aim to raise awareness of the department's role and Victoria's primary and energy industries. Sponsorship opportunities allow us to foster strong relationships with our stakeholders and encourage discussion and debate through collaborative partnerships.
Programs and initiatives proudly sponsored by DPI include the successful TV series, Mercurio's Menu, Rural Women's Award and the DPI Young Farmer of the Year Award.
All sponsorships support the Victorian Government's sponsorship principles:

- implementing effective risk management.
General sponsorship criteria
All requests for sponsorship should demonstrate how the program or activity will:
All parties to any DPI sponsorship agreement must:
- share DPI and government goals and interest
- have a reliable record of fulfilling obligations
- be reputable and financially viable.
We will not sponsor activities deemed inappropriate, such as discriminatory, illegal, religious or political activities.
How to apply for sponsorship
Applicants should address the above criteria using our Sponsorship Application Form. Supporting documents may be attached. Submit your completed form and any supporting attachment/s to:

We receive numerous requests for sponsorship each year and not all requests can be funded. Priority will be given to proposals that support our strategies and key initiatives.
Requests cannot be assessed without completion of either the Sponsorship Application Form or a formal proposal. Please allow up to six weeks for your request to be processed.
